All are welcome in worship. If you’re a committed Christian or trying to find God in a place that makes sense to you… you’re welcome. One thing that we’re sure of here is that everyone is welcome at God’s table for communion.
When you attend our worship, you can expect a service that lasts one hour to one and a quarter hours. We sing, listen to readings from the Bible, pray and hear a message from a pastor. The speaking is intended to help the Bible readings relate to our daily lives.
We regularly share the Sacrament of Holy Communion, an important reminder that Christ died for our benefit, that he is present with us today, and that he is here for everyone. ALL are invited to receive the sacrament, including children.
We offer the second part of communion (the blood of Christ, whether red wine or white grape juice) by intinction AND common cup. So, you can consume your wafer and then drink from the first cup of red wine, or hold on to your wafer and dip it into the second cup of red wine or third cup of white grape juice.
You can come dressed as you wish. The Wednesday, Saturday, and 9:00 am service on Sunday are more casual. You’ll often find people in jeans or shorts. Our 10:30 am Sunday service has a business casual feel. Come dressed up or in jeans though- it makes no difference. God’s happy that you came and not worried about what you’re wearing and neither are we.
You’ll find children in worship. They’re welcome to go to Christian education opportunities or stay with their adult in the church.
We will NOT call upon you to introduce yourself in front of the assembly, but we would love to speak with you, one on one, after the service.
After our worship service, we have a time of fellowship, with refreshments. At this time, you may meet members of our congregation and our clergy, and get to know us a little better.
