Food Pantry Needs

If you are able to drop off any non-perishable food items to the church for the Food Pantry, please do so Thursday mornings between 9 am and 11 am.  If you can’t drop off then, please call the church office at 410-485-7654, or Pastor Parker at 443-827-0124, to arrange another time. Your donation is greatly appreciated by those who are food-insecure.  Thank you!
We are so grateful for all the people who have donated money, groceries, or their time in shopping to see that our neighbors have enough to eat. We are especially in need of canned fruit, cookies, and paper towels.

SAVERS COLLECTION

As we clean out our closets and drawers during this quarantine, your gently used clothing or household items can be brought to the church for a SAVERS COLLECTION.  Please separate the clothing and household items into separate containers.  Any questions, please call Pat McGowan at 410-262-4059.

Attention Thrivent Members

You are eligible to do at least 1 or 2 Thrivent Action Team Projects. Each Project gets seed money of $250.00 to purchase items needed for volunteers to complete their project.
At Church there is a need for food for the community, if we could get an action card for each week, the Church could help more families with food. Also a need for cleaning supplies to get the Church ready to return to in-person worship. If you are unable to shop, I am sure someone would do it for you. How do you put in for these projects?

  1. 1. Go to www.thrivent.com – if you have never logged on, you will need your Thrivent Account number.
  2. At top of the page go to “What we offer”
  3. Generosity
  4. Thrivent Action Team
  5. Apply Now
  6. Pick a date
  7. Name your project
  8. Service project (food and cleaning supplies are both service projects)
  9. Have an approximate # of volunteers (to purchase, sort items, and give out)
  10. Provide details about your project
  11. Explain what you will do with the seed money.
