Kids of all ages are welcome at Epiphany! We include children in all aspects of the life of the church. Here’s some information about a few of our children’s ministries.
A well-staffed nursery is available for children from birth to age 5. The nursery is available during the 9 am worship service.
KidZone is a Christian education class offered during Sunday’s 9:00 and 10:30 am worship and Wednesdays at 6 pm. On Sunday kids will hear a brief lesson, talk about God, do a craft and have a snack before joining their parents back in worship. And we always have a special opportunity for kids during Lent and Advent.
On Wednesday, we begin to gather around 5:45pm, have a story, an outdoorsy craft or project, and some play time. Adults may pick the kids up following the service.
We’ve begun serving dinner again, so no need to figure out feeding the kids before you come! If you’d like to help with providing meals, let Pastor Owens know!
KidZone is primarily geared toward Elementary school aged kids, but we will do our best to accommodate younger children.
Several times a year we offer kids fellowship opportunities. We get together near Valentines Day to make cards for those who are sick, over the summer for a barbeque… something fun for families throughout the seasons. You’ll find more information in our newsletter, the Tower Light, or on the church calendar.
But perhaps the most fun of the year is had during Vacation Bible Camp! Every year kids gather for a week full of fun evenings with stories, science, crafts, snacks and games. Vacation Bible Camp ends on a Sunday with a special worship geared for kids and a picnic afterwards!
