Our mission is to tell the Good News that God is Love. One very real way we show God’s love is by taking care of our neighbor and community. We have a vibrant food ministry including a food pantry, supplied by members of our congregation that is open to the community two days per week. We also cook for and staff a free community lunch on the third and fifth Saturdays of the month at St. Matthias church on Bel Air road. (See St Matthias info for Covid-19 changes).
Other opportunities include a thrift shop along with All Saints church. Members of our community contribute items for the shop which is housed at All Saints Lutheran Church. We also maintain a community garden, the vegetables benefiting those in need in our community. Christmas in August gets a jump on collecting toys for Christmas.
We also host Alcoholics Anonymous and the Lou Pet Loss Support Group.
The list could go on, but the idea is that we strongly believe in getting outside of our building and serving the community!
