Our mission is to tell the Good News that God is Love. One very real way we show God’s love is by taking care of our neighbor and community. We have a vibrant food ministry plus “Loaves & Fishes” that is open to the community every Saturday from 10 am-12 pm. We also cook for and staff a free community lunch, generally on the third Saturday of the month in Hightman Hall from 11 am-1 pm.
We also maintain a community garden, the vegetables benefiting those in need in our community. Christmas in August gets a jump on collecting toys for Christmas.
We also host Alcoholics Anonymous and the Lou Pet Loss Support Group.
The list could go on, but the idea is that we strongly believe in getting outside of our building and serving the community!
