Youth

The pre-teen and teen years are times of exploration, growth… and fun! Our fellowship and education programs give an opportunity for youth to learn more about God, grow in their Christian beliefs, connect with other Christian youth, and have a great time while they’re doing it. This community formed between caring and committed adult mentors, and other young people, help youth to cope with the stresses of school, relationships, and society.

Our Youth Group meets twice a month on the second and fourth Sunday from 4-6pm and includes a meal, games, discussion and prayer. All young people between sixth and twelfth grades are welcome to participate- no exceptions. Some of the youth are exploring their faith and others are committed but membership is never required. Each young person can find a place of welcome and acceptance here while they’re exploring and growing in their faith.

Confirmation class is held on the first, third and fifth Sunday of each month during the school year from 4-5:30pm. Typically for those in seventh and eighth grades, although any age that wishes to understand more about our faith are welcome to attend. We explore the Bible, the Creeds, the Ten Commandments and a bit of church history. All this is done with an eye on helping the scriptures and beliefs to be meaningful in our daily lives.
