The pre-teen and teen years are times of exploration, growth… and fun! Our fellowship and education programs give an opportunity for youth to learn more about God, grow in their Christian beliefs, connect with other Christian youth, and have a great time while they’re doing it. This community formed between caring and committed adult mentors, and other young people, help youth to cope with the stresses of school, relationships, and society.
Youth Group and Junior Youth Group are joining forces for this year! That means that anyone in grades 3 to 12 are invited to be a part of youth group. We will be meeting on the second Sunday each month. Friends are always welcome. Some of the youth are exploring their faith and others are committed but membership is never required. Each young person can find a place of welcome and acceptance here while they’re exploring and growing in their faith.
Let Hoss Parvizian or Pastor Parker know if you would like to know more.
Confirmation class is held for those in seventh and eighth grades, although any age that wishes to understand more about our faith are welcome to attend. We explore the Bible, the Creeds, the Ten Commandments and a bit of church history. All this is done with an eye on helping the scriptures and beliefs to be meaningful in our daily lives. If someone you know would like to be a part of confirmation class, please let Deacon Doug know.
